As the company accelerates its digital transformation — including a website redevelopment, e-commerce and lead-generation capabilities, and expanded social media presence — we are seeking a hands-on Marketing and Website Lead to own our digital brand presence and drive measurable growth in visibility, engagement, and leads. Role Summary The Marketing and Website Lead will own Elite Tools Kenya's website and social media presence end-to-end — from day-to-day content execution to leading the company's broader website redesign initiative. This is a hybrid role combining strategic project leadership (the website redesign) with consistent, high-quality execution across social and digital channels. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable briefing a web development agency as they are scheduling an Instagram post. Core Responsibilities Website Ownership & Redesign Leadership • Manage day-to-day website updates, content edits, and bug fixes on elitekenya.com • Lead the website redesign initiative day-to-day — gathering requirements, briefing vendors/developers, and tracking progress to launch — in close coordination with the Operations Team Lead and relevant department leaders • Own the website content strategy: product listings, landing pages, service pages, and lead-capture forms • Monitor site performance, uptime, and user experience, escalating technical issues to developers/IT as needed • Ensure the website is optimized for search engines (on-page SEO: metadata, page speed, mobile responsiveness, keyword structure) Social Media & Content • Create, design, and schedule regular Instagram and Facebook posts aligned with brand guidelines • Develop and publish LinkedIn content positioning Elite Tools Kenya as an industry authority (company updates, product spotlights, thought leadership) • Build and maintain a monthly content calendar across all channels • Monitor comments, messages, and reviews across social platforms and respond or escalate appropriately • Coordinate with photographers/videographers or produce content in-house for product and branch features Marketing Operations & Reporting • Manage email/newsletter marketing campaigns to existing customers and leads • Run and optimize light paid social campaigns (Meta/LinkedIn ads) where budget is allocated • Track and report on website traffic, social engagement, lead generation, and campaign performance monthly • Maintain brand consistency (visual identity, tone, messaging) across all digital touchpoints • Coordinate with external vendors and agencies (web developers, designers, ad platforms) as needed Required Qualifications • 2–3 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or website/content management, ideally in a B2B, industrial, or distribution business • Experience managing or regularly updating a website (CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or similar); exposure to a redesign or rebuild project is a strong plus • Proven track record running Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn business pages, including content creation and scheduling tools • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and basic web analytics (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or equivalent) • Strong written communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt tone across platforms • Comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and coordinating external vendors Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field • Experience with e-commerce or lead-generation website features (product catalogs, quote/RFQ forms, chatbots) • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) • Experience running paid social media campaigns • Familiarity with the industrial tools, hardware, or B2B distribution sector in East Africa • Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar) Success Measures First 90 Days • Days 1–30: Complete a full audit of the current website and social channels (content gaps, SEO basics, load speed, current traffic/engagement baseline); meet with the Operations Team Lead and department heads to align on redesign priorities and content needs • Days 31–60: Deliver a website redesign roadmap and timeline with vendor/developer options assessed; launch a consistent posting cadence (minimum 3x/week Instagram & Facebook, 2x/week LinkedIn) against a documented content calendar • Days 61–90: Set up baseline tracking dashboards for website traffic, social engagement, and lead form submissions; deliver the first monthly performance report; have the redesign scope and vendor selection finalized and underway Ongoing (Quarterly / Annual) • Website traffic growth and improved on-site engagement (time on site, pages per session) • Increase in qualified leads/inquiries generated through the website • Follower growth and engagement rate improvements across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn • Successful, on-time delivery of the website redesign project • Consistent brand presentation across all digital channels How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a CV
