Reporting to the Director of Membership Engagement, this role plans and delivers high-impact online, hybrid, and in-person events, manages Member communications, and ensures consistent, high-quality engagement across the Global Summit, Working Groups, and Regional Chapters. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Member Engagement Manager is a key point of contact for Members and a reliable driver of coordination and continuous improvement across the engagement function.
**In this role, you will be responsible for:**
- Planning and delivering Member events, including Working Groups, Regional Chapters, and webinars.
- Supporting Summit delivery by owning Member logistics across speakers, agendas, registration, timelines, and the support inbox.
- Producing and coordinating the Weekly Member Bulletin, Monthly Member Meetings, and other products to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
- Maintaining Member data and records, keeping CRM and participation data accurate to support reporting, tracking, and follow-up.
- Project managing Member prospects, maintaining accurate data and records and ensuring timely follow-up to maximize new Member recruitment.
- Supporting Member onboarding and stewardship, serving as a knowledgeable advocate for NetHope's value and benefits.
- Managing three to four thematic Working Groups, ensuring regular meetings and speakers are scheduled on topics of interest to Members.
- Managing process improvement, identifying and implementing enhancements to engagement services, tools, and digital workflows to strengthen Member experience.
- Documenting and maintaining a library of Member quotes, case studies, and news to support reporting and donor communications.
- Responding to internal questions about Membership and providing relevant updates in staff meetings and other forums, in coordination with the Director of Membership Engagement.

- Comfortable applying AI-powered tools and emerging technologies responsibly in a mission-driven context.
- Strong record-keeping and analytical skills to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Proficient in handling and analysing data and working with CRM databases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Asana, Zoom, Cvent, Miro, and Slack.
Education and Experience
- 4+ years of experience in a professional environment, ideally in NGOs, membership organizations, or community-focused roles.
- Experience engaging diverse groups across multiple time zones and delivering high-quality external-facing engagement.
- NetHope Member or NGO experience highly valued.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
*Reporting and Working Conditions:*
- Full-time, remote position reporting to the Director of Membership Engagement, working closely with cross-functional teams across NetHope.
- Occasional international travel (1 to 2 times annually) for key events.
