What You'll Do
In this role you will assist the procurement function in delivering cost‑effective and timely supplies for the company's projects.
• Support the preparation of purchase requisitions by gathering specifications from internal stakeholders and verifying budget allocations.
• Assist in evaluating potential suppliers, compiling comparison sheets and contributing to the selection of vendors that meet quality and sustainability criteria.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts and delivery schedules within the company’s ERP system.
• Help monitor inventory levels, flagging low‑stock items and coordinating with store‑keeping staff to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Participate in the analysis of spend data, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and reporting findings to senior procurement managers.
• Contribute to the preparation of supplier performance reports, highlighting compliance, delivery timeliness and any issues that require corrective action.
What We're Looking For
We are interested in candidates who have recently completed a relevant degree and demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for supply‑chain functions.
• A Bachelor’s degree, BA/BSc/HND, in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business, Marketing, Sales or a closely related discipline.
• Recent graduate status or limited professional experience, indicating readiness to learn on the job.
• Strong motivation to develop a career in procurement, supply chain or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to absorb new concepts quickly, take initiative and assume responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Professional attitude, positive outlook and a willingness to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in documentation and data entry.
