Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Internal Auditor based in Kisumu, with the flexibility to work from home on occasion.
The Internal
Auditor will be responsible for performing financial audits, preparing detailed audit reports, analyzing financial data, and identifying potential risks. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, providing recommendations for process improvements, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are key components of this role.
Qualifications
• Experience in preparing Audit Reports and conducting Financial Audits
• Proficiency in Finance and Analytical Skills
• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA are highly desirable
• Strong ethical standards with a focus on confidentiality and integrity
• Proficiency in financial auditing software is a plus
