About the Role Our client, a prominent management consultancy firm, is seeking a dedicated Management Consultant with expertise in Supply Chain and Logistics to join their team in **Embu, Kenya**. Key Responsibilities Conduct end-to-end supply chain assessments, identifying areas for improvement in planning, sourcing, manufacturing, and logistics. Design and implement optimized supply chain strategies, including network design, inventory management, and transportation solutions. Develop and execute procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and ensure supplier reliability. Improve warehouse management and distribution processes to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times. Utilize data analytics and supply chain modeling tools to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels. Manage relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, negotiating contracts and service level agreements. Oversee the implementation of supply chain technologies, such as WMS, TMS, and ERP modules. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and sustainability best practices in supply chain operations. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations detailing findings and recommendations to clients. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics consulting, or a related operational role. Proven track record in optimizing supply chain operations, reducing costs, and improving efficiency. Strong understanding of inventory management, demand forecasting, procurement, and transportation. Experience with supply chain software and analytics tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA, Tableau). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and client stakeholders.
