The School
This is a very exciting time to be joining Durham International School Kenya. Since it opened in January 2021, Durham International has exceeded expectations. The School has undergone significant expansion in the last year with the opening of a second campus in September 2025 for the Prep School and the Senior School.
Durham International delivers a UK curriculum, IGCSE and Sixth Form, and there are currently over 50 nationalities enrolled. Durham International Kenya is operated in partnership with Durham School UK, one of the UK's oldest schools and a member of the Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS) and the HMC, the professional association of the Heads of the world's leading independent schools. It is an accredited member of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and a member of the Kenya Association of International Schools (KAIS).

Innovative and enthusiastic teachers and leaders, committed to achieving the highest standards of teaching and learning, are at the heart of our learning community, providing the framework for every student's academic, social, emotional and physical development.
With the School’s continuing expansion, we are looking to appoint Key Stage 1 teachers who are seeking personal growth and development and opportunities to move into leadership and departmental roles.
