About this opportunity
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes while maintaining traditional cooking techniques and flavor standards.
• Develop and adapt menus as per company requirements and be creative
• Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, staff coordination, and maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.
• Train other kitchen staff in Chinese cooking methods such as wok frying, steaming, and sauce preparation.
• Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and attractive presentation to maintain satisfaction and company standards
• Inventory Management in the Kitchen
• Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Proven experience preparing authentic Chinese cuisine and strong knowledge of traditional cooking techniques such as wok frying, steaming, and stir-frying.
• Relevant culinary training or certification in professional cookery or Chinese cuisine from a recognized institution.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, manage time efficiently, and maintain high food safety and hygiene standards.
• Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
