UN-Habitat is seeking an intern for its Zero Waste initiative in Nairobi, Kenya. The intern will support the solid waste team, engaging in research, stakeholder collaboration, and project implementation related to Waste Wise Cities and the African Clean Cities Platform. Responsibilities
• The intern will support the work of the solid waste team, including its different programmes, such as Waste Wise Cities and African Clean Cities Platform.
• The responsibilities encompass research, collaboration with stakeholders, communication and documentation, capacity building, monitoring, and administrative support. And further
• Support projects’ implementation under Waste Wise Cities and African Clean Cities Platform
• Organize webinars on solid waste management topics
• Review the online course and formulate a strategy for engagement with users
• Formulate and implement a strategy to engage new member cities and affiliates under Waste Wise Cities and African Clean Cities Platform
• Support regular communication with member cities and affiliates of Waste Wise Cities and African Clean Cities Platform
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Applicants must at the time of application, meet one of the following requirements:
• Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher),
