Our client is seeking a dedicated and energetic Assistant Retail Manager to support the operations of their store in Kisumu . This is an on-site position, requiring full commitment to the physical store environment.
The Assistant Retail Manager will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth and profitable operation of the retail outlet. You will assist in managing staff, overseeing inventory, enhancing customer satisfaction, and upholding the company's brand standards. Key responsibilities:
Assisting the Store Manager in daily store operations and staff supervision. Ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction are consistently delivered. Supporting sales initiatives and contributing to the achievement of sales targets. Managing inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and conducting regular stock takes. Implementing visual merchandising guidelines to ensure product displays are appealing and effective. Training and coaching new and existing retail associates. Maintaining store appearance, cleanliness, and adherence to safety regulations. Handling customer concerns and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner. Assisting with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and administrative tasks. Deputizing for the Store Manager in their absence.
We are looking for candidates with at least 3 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or assistant management role. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are crucial. A passion for retail, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
