**Position Summary**
As General Director, you will lead and coordinate Intiwawa's teams in Peru, Germany, and the United States, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across countries and departments. You will oversee the organization's administrative and operational areas, including Programs, Finance, Marketing and Communications, Fundraising, Volunteer Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, and the daily activities of our community center, Casa Intiwawa.
You will develop and implement annual strategic plans with measurable goals, strengthening the long-term sustainability and impact of the organization. You will also lead fundraising and institutional development efforts by building strategic partnerships, cultivating networks, and identifying new national and international funding opportunities.
The General Director serves as the primary point of contact for donors, partners, collaborators, and beneficiary communities and provides guidance and support to coordinators and team members in Peru, Germany, and the United States. Working closely with the Program Manager and local communities, the Executive Director will ensure that Intiwawa's programs remain responsive to local needs and continue to achieve meaningful impact.

**Responsibilities**
Organizational Leadership and Coordination
- Coordinate the overall operations of the organization and ensure alignment with Intiwawa's mission and vision.
- Optimize human, administrative, and financial resources to ensure effective project implementation.
- Develop and implement annual strategic plans with measurable objectives and indicators.
- Manage budgets, organize teams, and delegate responsibilities across projects and departments.
- Maintain transparency through accurate financial and administrative documentation.
- Strengthen organizational sustainability through fundraising, grant writing, and the development of strategic partnerships and cooperation agreements.
- Research and establish relationships with local and international institutions, foundations, companies, and organizations.
- Build networks and collaborative partnerships to expand the organization's reach and impact.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Impact
- Oversee monitoring and evaluation processes for all programs and projects.
- Promote a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the collection, analysis, and communication of impact data and key performance indicators.
- Support project planning, documentation, reporting, and periodic evaluations.
Team Leadership and Cross-Cultural Coordination
- Lead, mentor, and support a multicultural team consisting of staff members, coordinators, and 10-20 interns and volunteers.
- Coordinate collaboration between teams in Peru, Germany, and the United States.
- Facilitate regular meetings and ensure effective communication across countries and departments.
- Promote the active use of communication tools and collaborative platforms.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, collaborators, and beneficiary communities.
Oversight of Casa Intiwawa
- Supervise the day-to-day operational and administrative activities of the community center.
- Coordinate and support processes related to marketing and communications, finance, volunteer recruitment, fundraising, events, and impact measurement.
- Work closely with the Program Manager to continuously assess community needs and ensure program quality and effectiveness.
**Requirements**
- Excellent command of Spanish and English (German is a plus).
- Minimum of two years of experience in organizational leadership, management, or team supervision.
- Experience with fundraising, grant writing, and international reporting.
- Experience with monitoring and evaluation and impact reporting is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and time-management skills.
- High level of digital literacy and proficiency with online collaboration tools and technology.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems in dynamic and evolving environments.
- Flexibility, creativity, and adaptability.
- Excellent interpersonal, intercultural communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within multicultural teams.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to continuous learning.

- Full-time position (40 hours per week).
- Flexible and unconventional working hours.
- One annual round-trip flight between the home country and Arequipa (up to €800 per year).
- Remuneration of €500 per month (plus travel and other work-related expenses).
