Our Client is an established and growing law firm is seeking to recruit a Junior Advocate to join its team. This role is ideal for a driven and adaptable professional looking to build strong practical experience within a structured and hands-on environment.

Location: Mombasa

Budget: Ksh 60,000 Monthly Gross Salary

Role Overview

The successful candidate will support the firm in handling legal matters across litigation and advisory work, with increasing responsibility over time. The role requires a balance of technical competence, initiative, and a willingness to learn and grow within the firm.

Key Responsibilities
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, submissions, and agreements
• Support and progressively handle litigation matters
• Conduct legal research and provide sound legal opinions
• Attend court and assist in case management
• Maintain timely follow-up on client matters and court processes
• Communicate professionally with clients and other stakeholders
• Ensure proper organization and tracking of files and timelines

Candidate Profile
• Bachelor's degree in Law
• Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with approximately 1 year post-admission experience
• Demonstrated exposure to litigation and legal drafting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Assertive, confident, and able to take initiative
• Organized, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
• Open to learning, feedback, and continuous development
• Willing and able to relocate to Mombasa
