Final Project Evaluation of the UNESCO Project “AI Ready Flemish Public Administration”

The UNESCO Science Sector is seeking an evaluation team to conduct the final evaluation of the **"AI Ready Flemish Public Administration"** project, funded by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Structural Reform Support (DG REFORM) through the EU's Technical Support Instrument (TSI).

The main purpose of the evaluation is to generate findings and recommendations on the project's results in supporting the European Commission's efforts to enhance the AI readiness of the Flemish public administration. The evaluation will provide accountability for the use of resources and the results achieved by assessing the project's performance against its original objectives, while also capturing lessons learned to inform future EU–UNESCO initiatives in the field of AI readiness.

The evaluation will assess the project's achievements to date, identifying what has been effective, under what conditions, and in which contexts, as well as its contributions to the implementation of ethical AI policies and its potential for long-term impact. It will cover all project components, outcomes, activities across the beneficiary entities, and knowledge products. In addition, it will examine the main challenges encountered during project implementation, as well as the project's governance and management arrangements. The evaluation period will cover October 2024 to September 2026.
